Does a 3.4 have a gasket between the oil pump and the main baring?

    Does a 3.4 have a gasket between the oil pump and the main baring?

    In short, did a rebuild, still have low oil pressure, looking for the cause.

    I remember the the kit did not come with a gasket, and I called autozone about the gasket and they said it is not listed and some engine do not have them.

    Is this true for the 3.4L ?

    how about an O-ring for the pickup tube.

      Again one was not listed in the gasket kit...

      That press fit is damn tight - if anything could leak out of that I would be amazed

        No gasket, no o-ring. Just bolts on.
