hpp3/maft+

now that i just ordered the hpp3, is my maft+ just taking up space? does the hpp3 allow changes under wot only like the maft+? i guess i will find out when i get it, i am just a bit anxious.

for power the HPP3 has (2) settings.
1) Power tuning for 87 Octane
2) Power tuning for 93 Octane

Its probably on the conservative side, I run the 87 version usually. They claim 10rwhp increase, seems a lot peppier with it. Not WOT only. Adjusts timing and mixture I think. Its too bad you can't use it like a MAFT+

looks like i have reason to keep the maft+ then. though i only use 93 octane. when i had the power pack installed i was told to only use higher octane gas. can anyone shed light to why this is so?

IF you had the heads milled which Tom likes to do. It may have increased compression. IF so then you will want the higher octane.
