so how would i tell if i have a collapsed lifter? i don't have the car running yet, but i'm wondering what symtoms i could/should be looking for. is there something in autotap enhanced that can help me out? excessive misfires maybe?
reason i'm asking this question...when i was installing the rocker arms, i was doing the second stage of torque, (turning the extra 90 degrees) on the exhaust valve of #6 cyl, and i got this little 'pppfft' of oil that was atomized just when i got to the end of the 90 degrees. looked like a little cloud of smoke. i'm guessing it came outta a lifter??
any help appreciated
