I am looking to buy a 3.8L block really just the block cause i am gonna build it from the ground out. Its gonna be my chrismas and summer project. Gonna send it off to be cryoed along with forged pistons and rods and crank. And then port and polish the hell out of my heads and intakes and put in a mean cam with high lifts maybe near .600 since i will have dish toped pistons i wont worry about piston vavle clearence and i will mill the vavle down a bit. This engine will be a boost engine along with spray thinking 9-12 lbs of boost and 75 shot or so of nitrous. Can anyone help me out. Thanks alot.

Block only....I dont know but start with eBay complete motors for 300.00 or so. Otherwise salvage yards.I have made a lot of money in my life, most of which I spent on cars and women.<p>The rest I have blown. -

Sounds like a nice plan. I had something similiar in mind. Dont know if I will follow through yet. I would check local salvage yards for a block. I think you would pay alot in shipping. IF you cant find it local then goto Sounds like a nice plan. I had something hpsalvage.comComment

man, we can hit up a couple local yards, im sure theres a 3.8 out there for the taking, although many times those places are more expensive cause its a working engine and id say about 600 bones. I dunno man, I can look into it for you maybe here locally.
