Cam help

Just wondering what kinda cam i should get, i want one that pulls hard in the mid range and a little up top, and good around town.

Check out ZZperformance.com. If you're gonna go N/A check out the GT cam(210/210 .507 112LS 108IC). I would definitely get new retainers and springs with this cam though. If you're gonna go with boost, run the VS cam. I heard only good things about this cam if run with boost.

I like the GT2 cam on the ZZP site it's 216/216 111lsa with .507/.507 lift. It's a little more punchy than the GT and has a better lope. You have to get a verter with some PCM tuning though.

I looked at the new GT2 cam also. The problem is that you have to get your computer reprogrammed. Most people have complained that ZZperformance doesn't actually do this and no one else is reprogramming the 3800 II. If you have someone lined up that KNOWS how to do this, than I'd go with this cam. If you don't, just get the GT cam and be content with having 5 less PEAK HP. It can be a big headache and PITA if you go the way of the GT2.
