• 1995 3.4 A4 to buick 3.8 and T56?

Ok, putting a turbo 3.8 from a buick GN in my 1995 3.4 has been my dream of mine for years now, still saving the money, BUT i was going to just use the 4l60e tranny, or 7004r. IS there anything stopping me from using a T56 behind that buick? I converted a fbody from auto to manual before, but it was a 3rd gen, it was a piece of cake. I would love to have a 11sec turbo V6 4th gen with a 6spd... talk about winning evey car show i go to Ive seen a few 4th gens now with those engines.. most converted from V8 cars. I would think my 95 3.4 would be ALOT easier then taking apart an LT1 car since the car is very basic computer and emmissions wise. I will no do the conversion myself tho, i will try and get the guy that was on GMhightechperformance.com to do it

I believe the buick 3.8 has a totally different bolt pattern than the stock housings on the 4th gen v8's so it would probably require a custom bellhousing that mates from the 3.8 to the T-56.

Look at the turbo buick sites, maybe there is a converson for a t56, and a GN 3.8L. Its a poular sports car, and turboed 3.8L are relatively popular motors. They ahve kits that bolt up on third gens, maybe on grand nationals too.
