What info can you all give me about the 3.8L V6 valves other than what's in the Engine Tech section? I.e. How many grooves for the valve locks, what's the valve stem diameter...I am trying to see if the Manley valves for the LS1 will work in your 3.8L V6.

I have an extra set of heads lying around. I can look at the valves for you. Tell me what to look for. I can also take pics if that helps.

Chat room would be nice right now...

Info I am looking for would be:

        Overall Length
        Valve head diameter
        Valve Stem diameter

I may just go up to the local dealership and buy one intake and one exhaust valve and compare them to the set of Manley valves that I have here for the LS1.

Yes chat room would be nice for posts like these.

But what size are the manley valves you have? I know stock we run a 1.8 intake and 1.52 exhaust. how much larger are the manley valves? Also when doing bigger valves do you have to machine the head at all to make them work or do they just replace easily?
