Magnus, is anything you're working on going to pertain to the OBD-I PCM's? I'd love to be able to do custom changing of fuel/timing curves to deal w/ my turbo, and take away the speed and rpm limiter. Are you strictly working w/ the OBD-II or is the OBD-II close enough to the OBD-I where applications in changing both would be very difficult?

There are already many people who work with the OBD-I pcm.. not many with OBD-II.
I'm just going to make a page for everyone to read.. of all the info I collect. Including DIY OBD-II PCM hacking.
Companies charge WAY too much for this crap. Just in it to make a buck. Its not assembly.
Its hex. Hacking a binary file.
In a few weeks I'll be making a web page for this and make this an open source project.Keith - Chicago
HP Tuners - PCM Reprogramming
97 Firebird V6 to LS1 swap
V8 9.967@132.78 1.322 60\' NA Heads/Cam
V8 10.295@128.48 1.363 60\' NA Cam Only
V8 10.987@119.31 1.422 60\' NA Stock Internals
V6 13.674@98.22 NA
V6 12.394@104.91 N20 100HP

Is there anyone that can tune our cars? if so where? I dont mind paying for it but it would be cool to be able to do our selves. aslo this might be a dumb question but other than timming, fuel, changing gears and when the fans come on what is there to do to the computer? thanks.white 1996 camaro 3800: flowmaster American thunder cat back. hypertech 160* stat, and manual fan switch

doesn't seem like this should be that hard to do...based on the little hand held scan tools that can read the data from the pcm...ever crack open one of those?..not much to them....couldn't be too hard to figure out send / revice commands and write/flash commands
hey Magnus or anyone else trying to figure this out...I would like to help, contact me on aim at syntax_erorr or email syntax@buckeye-express.com
..I have programing experience and some knowledge of on the data port works with obd-I
