  • Do i need to get titanium retianers

    I ordered my cam

    210/220 .533/.533 115 lsa 111 I/C

and i will be installing a supercharger and running a shot of nitrous and i will be shifting at 6000 rpms as soon as i get my 3.73's and my hypertech. What do yall think chromemoly or tiatinum retianers cost difference is.

    Chromemoly: $54.00
    titanium : $140

I think even the chromemoly is overkill, the idea is to make it light weight but at only 0.5" lift and under 6500 RPM you won't see anything over the chromemoly going with titanium. Titanium just has a high snazz factor :D

the titanium lightens up the valvetrain, it will end up in the valve springs lasting longer and more of a chance of hte valves not floating because of the lighter weight adn extra control...

I think I am going with titanium retainers. Which ones will work with my 915 springs?

Tom recomended this sense it will change the spring installed height to be safer with the lift I will be running.
