How much was the total cost for your cam, with all the parts and labor? I really want to do one this summer, and I'm trying to get an idea on the total cost. I know most cams are $300.

2002 Camaro SS, 6 speed, SLP Loudmouth, TR 224/224 Camshaft(valvetrain upgraded), Pro 5.0 shifter / Hurst classic black knob. -
my cam itself was $310. springs, retainers, keepers, gaskets, rocker arm bolts, misc seals, engine lube, oil & filters, & specialized tools set me back another approx $500. (ok i bought snap-on) plus i bought autotap enhanced so i can see what the engine is doing..that was another $300. i installed it myself.
