  • 3.8 super six pack

If I was going to "possibly" get this installed in the near future with the cam heads intake etc. Then it would be dumb to upgrade my headers now yes?

super six package is heads/cam, and i think intake. i'd get their heads and intakes, but not the cam. go w/ a custom grind or look on some performance V6 websites for ideas. headers would be good either b4 or after the mod. the main restiction on stock exhaust is the cat-back piping, so headers will get you some power, but not as much as u could get w/ a cat-back. I plan on getting Stage 4 ZZP or Intense heads, a VS or HL camshaft(possibly moddified slightly in specs), and P&P'd intakes(dunno who i'll get them done by yet tho). These are mods i am looking at in the more distant future. I am working on smaller supporting mods for now so that the motor will make the most of a heads/cam/intake pkg.

Of course. In 2 weeks Im putting a whole exhaust system on the car 3" American Thunder Catback + 3" Car sound cat. My question is....would it be a waste of money to put rksport headers on now or can I get there super six package without the head and cam?....If I did then....wouldn't that defeat the purpose of the pack or would it make it that much more cheaper?

super six package=heads/cam/intakes. if ur goin w/ an exhaust, get headers done at the same time so that u spend less cash on labor.

So when I get the rksport ones and eventually down the line I upgrade to a super six. I won't need those heads anymore will I? or are those better? Also if I was to get a new cam since you said or someone said those weren't any good. Couldn't you just do the lower/upper manifold and see the same gains or no?
