  • Instrument cluster info(not swapable question)

OK, i have a z28 instrument cluster and a my v6 instrument cluster(both 94-95). My question is, if dakota digital switches a resistor or something to correct the tach, why can't i switch one from my v6 cluster to the v8 cluster? Anyone actually deal with Dakota digital fix? If so photos would help greatly! Any ideas appreciated! Thanks guys.

    Moving this to general tech.

You need to change the signal, not just resistance..

i use dakota digital tach adapter and it works nicely.
