    Has anyone on here tried building a stroker engine with the 3800 series II? I now this is a broad question, but this really interests me. I'm just wondering the potential and how streetable it would be? Please don't kill me with the usual if you want to know search stuff. I know how an engine works so don't rail on me for being a customer care rep..lol

    nope, no one has done that yet cuz it's so expensive to get a custom stroker crank and rods made. i figured out some combo's a long time ago. i think i got the displacement up to a little under 4.3 liters w/ .030 overbore and 3.55 or 3.6 stroke? i forget exactly.

          I can't remember all of the specs i had. I know stock stroke is 3.4" and stock rod length is 5.7". I forget the piston's compression height and the deck height of the block. My suggestion to you is to not go and smaller than a 1.6:1 rod/stroke ratio, just for reliability of the engine. stock bore it 2.8" and i have seen pistons made for it in up to 3.82" bore sizes. you'd have to get 3.83" bore sizes if you're goin for max displacement.
