Im confused, if the ls1 is around the same weight then why do so many peoples ls1 weigh 3700+ from the factory and the 3.8 weighs like 3400-3500 from the factory

Answer to Question 7-8

"A 125 hp shot is all you should spray with the stock fuel system if you are spraying dry (150 hp with a '98 because of a higher flowing fuel pump and 28.6 lb injectors instead of 26.4 lb injectors) and only then with proper Autotap monitoring."

I'm so done with nitrous..

I'm thinking...
YTP4400 or the cheaper Vig3200
10bolt w/3.73 gear
Long tubes w/H pipe no mufflers
LGX-2 cam (monster of a cam)

I think that should get me close to the 10's NA with my car being as light as it is.

Now i'm just dreaming. lol

i don't feel like reading 4 pages of this :D

what transmission? if m6, go with 4.10s and a 12-bolt or 9"

c'mon, you should know not to even bother with any other gears but 4.10s :D

If i blew up my current motor on nitrous I wouldn't be able to sell many parts, and that's just not worth it to me.

I as well as many other members on this board know that my car could have easily ran 11's on the juice. Hell, when I ran the 12.3 on a measly 100 shot, I was running 14.5 NA. I'm a good second faster now, just NA.

But.. I just want a mean growling screaming fast NA LS1.
