I'm sorry that your friend didn't research it much- MTI just got done doing a sale on anything from a lowbuck aluminum block 377 to a 434ci iron block.
well i have always been thinking about doing a v8 swap. But i probably wouldnt do it if i could just make my v6 sound more like a v8. plus if you have a v6 thats makeing 600hp then you will get more heads then if you have a v8 makeing 800. the main reason is it takes alot more to get a v6 to 600hp then it does to get a v8 to 800hp. plus just the satisfaction that you know that your v6 can run with the big boys should be good enough.
