you could always just get the Edelcrotch carb intake & go from there. Maybe even the Fageol Supercharger & get cowl hood for clearance. Tranny bolt patterns are different. V6 bell housing bolt pattern is same 82-02 2.8~3800, sbc is different.

You will have to replace the trans also. 34 to go is right, the bolt patterns are different. Also, you will have problems with the computer. Since the 350 is in the car still, I will assume that you also have the trans and that would be your best bet.

1, you could make an adapter plate for the trans. As a matter of fact, if you could manage to get the bellhousing off (I say that, because GM might as well have welded the bellhousing on, for the amount of locktite they used on the bolts), you might be able to swap a 700R4 bellhousing on with a 350 bolt pattern (you'd have to check ).

2, GM sells computers for the 4L60E, specifically for people who want to use a 4L60E on a non-computer controlled engine. See GM Performance Part's website.

yea, there is a part that does that, turns the 4l60E into the regular 4L60, which is basically a 700R4.

allows you to run the 4L60E w/o your computer
