MSD Ignition for 3.4L

Ok since I have pretty much every bolton done and internal work done I was thinking of getting MSD igntion. I did a search and heard it is a great mod for the 3.4 . It should give me some great power since I have internal work done right? Can anyone tell me the name and where can I get it cheap? (Ebay???) any suggestions?

To be honest, I think "great power" is exaggerated. You will see little gains and an improvement in mileage, but thats it.

I would DEFINATELY get it.
The ignition and computer were the 2 biggest performance things I've done.
I wouldn't really but it on ebay... if something happens with it you will be screwed... I bought mine online for like $330 I think. Warrenty and everything, MSD took care of us on the installation too. The wiring kit that you will find on this site is wrong. I can take off my wireloom and see how we wired it, or you can spend like 5 minutes on the phone with MSD and they will tell you exactly how to do it.

But yeah, it's a great mod for the 3.4

Isnt the name of the ignition called the DIS-4? Im having trouble finding it on the MSDIgnition.com .

im using 6a without limiter made by msd its a easy install make sure you get the right harness by the way i think its a great upgrade

6A isn't for our 3.4 [img]tongue.gif[/img] We need the DIS-4, I think the 6A is for use with a distributor only [img]smile.gif[/img] Isn't your 3.4 carb'd?

Anyway, gotta get the DIS-4.

ah yes i stand corrected i guess i forgot that there are still people out there using injectors and computers and have not upgraded to non computer and carbed hahahahaha
