Supersixmotorpsorts.com can make you a regrind, or you can get a custom grind from CompCams. Compcam can also be found at www.grandprixstore.com I have a compcam so does Magnus, nino and theres one other guy I think.

i didnt want to just no who was running one i wanted to know wqhat you guys thought about the aftermarket cam. performance wise.

I'm running a COMP Cams 212/212 .520/.520 112LS 110IC

I like it.. I just have really bad low end KR that I haven't figured out yet.

With terrible tuning I went from a 14.0 stock heads/cam with perfect tuning to a 13.8 with heads/cam and KR.

It also depends on what you want to do with the car, and how driveable you want it to be. What are your plans? COMP offers quite a few lobe selections so you can custom make your own grind.

and 13.8 on the motor is very impresive what mods do you have to date.

Hey Magnus or anyone else that knows....I noticed on Magnus's webpage in the cam install pictures, your timing is chain driven...Well, would my car be chain, or a belt? I am seriously looking into an aftermarket cam, and have heard chains are better off, and if you do soemthing to make then gear driven or something, that they kind of make a loud whistle..I just thought that ould be kind of cool, more efficient. Anybody have some insight?

the grandprix website shows the comp cam L67 for the supercharged grand prix making almost 30 hp somebody told me that only the L36 cam will work on our engines if this is true does anyone have an idea on how much hp this cam will make???

so i wasnt surte if the 14.0 with the cam with bad tuning to a 13.8 with the can and good tuning , i just wanted to know what he ran b4 the cam.

magnus i noticed you have a maf plus.do you also have a autotap. and if so how do like the maf plus
is it worth the money especially since you have to buy a autotap and a labtop to use it.

You really need the MAFT to tune the car after a cam install. I put a cam in (210/214 .450 .450 113ls) and went to the track for testing. I had no difference in 1/4 mile times from before. I had also ported out the intakes and TB. I picked up a MAFT+ and by leaning out the car and adding a little timing I picked up 25hp at the wheels over my previous dyno before the cam install. Autotap or some scanning software is a must, without it you can't tell what changes the MAFT will make. check out www.obd-2.com for some nice affordable scanning software.
