I was told since we have a hydraulic roller cam that there isnt any break in requirements, But what steps are you supposed to take so the valves seat and rings and everything breaks in correctly?

that is the break in for a flat tappet lifter cam.
for a roller cam there is no break in whatsoever, drop it in, tear it up.
if you have fresh piston rings then yea you have to seat the rings, take it easy for a while.

yeah, i guess that makes sense, but is it a good idea not to go WOT and get some miles on the engine to make sure?- \"So you have something to look at when you\'re talking to \'em\" -
http://www.cardomain.com/member_pages/view_page.pl?page_id=296916

put about 250-500 easy miles on the motor to break it in...the valves shouldnt need any break in to seal, if the work was done right they should seal before the motor was even run...Black 1998 Pontiac Firebird A-4 swap
271.4rwhp/259.4rwtq NA
13.30@102.44
www.freewebs.com/wickedsix98
