well i got my new pcm today. i now have a 6500 rev limit and no top speed governer. also fans turn on earlier :D .. what do i need to do to change these out/

Do you have any autotap logs yet? If so did anything change as far as tuning? Or was the PCM reprogram more for shift points and not tunign the cam? Just curious. I am wanting to do the same thing.

i didn't really tune anything. all i did was raise my shift points, rev limiter removed topspeed limiter and reduced the knock sensor count.(i think that what he did). my cam is very streetable, i'm going get a 100% out of it now... my car pulls all the way to 6300.. so i'm getting 500 more rpms per shift, which means i'm staying in my power band longer and keeping the rpms up..

43 mph? I hit 40 on the stock 1-2 shift shifting at 5800.

yes it's around 3-4 mph gain..trust me that is a lot for each gear and i'll have new track times tommorow to back it up.

=/ so wait, it cost u 300 total to buy a used pcm, from where, and send it to zzp for a change in tune. Im very interested in higher shift points, but Dont have any sort of cam or engine type work just of yet, but I can tell that in teh 40 mphs the shifts would be so much L33ter. what are all ur mods u got to amke taht safe. I think it wouldnt be to ruff on me.

i have a ton of mods, but the reason i got the pcm is cause i run a 206/216 compcam and have a 3400 converter. car pulls nice and hard to 6300 and with my stage 3 shift kit i spinn tires on the shift [img]graemlins/evilgrin.gif[/img] ,but i would not do a pcm swap with a stock cam, it's not worth it.. my car is far from stock..
