Is it me or do you guys think that these heads and a forced inductions setup could mean somewhwere near 400 crank Hp! I think it is possible just from the info gathered on the website. The only drawback is the cost! I wonder what it will sound like! I also bet that you can get that type of power on a stock block and cylinders with 24v heads.

The idea sounds interesting, and if it gets off the ground, I might be in the market for something like this. But I know for sure I wouldn't put a dime up till these things were tested tried and true to work. I'd like to see them on a 3.8l for about 6 months to a year before I ever invested money into something like this.

As for 400 crank hp from these heads and a power adder, I would think this could help get FAR MORE hp than that. With the billet crank that Intense has in store, I might actually try pushing 900 hp out of this project engine of mine, to hell with 400 hp, that is nothing. I don't think I will ever be impressed and satisfied with getting LS1 numbers from a 3.8l, I would rather push all to the absolute limit. ;)

There's no reason why we couldn't do 900 at the crank, the fastest gn's are still six's. They just run a f***load of boost. Plus they are still 2valve heads, really the greatest advantage of the 4valve chevy heads isn't the flow at max lift its the partial lift and that is what will help power adders the most. You'll just have to get a really aggressive custom ground cam, and a big turbo. A lot of people don't realize too is that series II heads flow better than gn heads, there is quite a lot of potential in these engines there just isn't an aftermarket to support it. I know i could never afford those heads but it would be cool to see a 9 sec v6 camaro.

My friend builds race GNs and says he could get the series II to 1200HP with no holds barred.

The aspect of adding an extra 100 hp to a bone stock 3800 is even without FI is incredible. The
price is about what you would pay for a 5-6 pound
FI kit. We still would need some concrete results with the 3800. Ya can't get support without proof. Maybe the price will come down then as well.
