defanitly, the valves alone will up the heads airflow, they are stock size (look for portflow seires SEV-3253 for the intake and SEV-3188 for the exhaust on si's website)

Stage 3 consists of the following:
      Hot-tank (cleaning) process
      Match porting to intake manifolds
Match porting exhaust manifolds or headers (optional)
      Polished combustion chamber
Valve job (regrind seats and valves)
      Flow bench testing
      Milling mating surface
Assembly of valvetrain (if purchased through FTPP)

For $200 more, we will P&P and hot-tank your intake manifolds and match them to the heads.

i spoke with the si vlave place, and i think i am getting these valves. They said on stock heads they won't make much difference, but they are light weight, and will flow better on ported heads. So do you all think that the new valves will work. wolf, did you have ur heads flowed after them? also, did you remove the fins in your heads? i hope thiese valves make a good difference. although, they don't look much diff than stock

There $170 a set, unless your doing some thing insane spend the $170 on some thing else.
Get the old valves checked out, regrind them, lap them and you will be good.
How many hp do you think those valves will get you? (not a $170 worth)

in my opinion, yes, what do i have to base that on, nothing really, however none of the people telling you not to get them have anything to base their conclusions on either

SI is a well known valve producer, probably a step down from ferra in quality, however none the less they make quality parts

Also, i see that super six gasket matches their exhaust ports on their heads, and i do have headers, so would this hurt if i have them enlarge the exhaust ports, because i may spray like 50-100 shot in the future. i didn't know the swirl valves had less mass than the stockers. nice

noped haven't had the heads flowed(they are one of the set of nrt heads)they have a much better shape than stock(but I don't have any good side buy side pics) they'll also raise yout compression slightly, because they have less dish on the bottom than the stock
and the fiero store gouges, you can deafanitly get 'em cheeper elswhere

yeah, the guy said that there is a lot more surface flow when the vanes are removed. Jerrkio, u flowed ur heas right? if so, what were your numbers, just curious because ur vanes are ground. also, viper, what were your numbers with the vanes in?
