would a 1997 camaro 3.8l motor bolt right up to my 1999 camaro transmission without any prablems. I pretty sure it is the same motor but im just making sure

I don't see why not. I think the biggest change, & I could be wrong, was that the upper intake no longer angled down.1978 Formula 461 in progress of being built :rock:

Use the long block from the 97 and put your 99 upper/lower intake on it, then you will be good to go.
