How is the market there for pre 99's?
97 and 98's are drastically different, it would take the same amount of time to do the 97 alone than it would for the 99-02's.
If companies charged what was fair for a 97 (with premium), you would complain that the premium is BS.

Whatever dude, When you had a 97 3.8 and hypertech came out with a programmer for the 99+ you complained the 07 guys didnt have sh** and you were gonna solve this by coming out with programming, but now you have the ls1 so you dont need the 3.8 programming..... of course you have nothing to complain about
I've been considering doing custom programming myself for awhile now, but I didn't know if it would be worth the effort. I've lurked around here from time to time for years, and as much as people complain that no one is making anything for their 96-99, it seems that there really aren't that many people interested.
I would also like to know how much interest there is in the 1997 cars. Main reason...well...my car is a 1997 and I would like to be able to have a program like this. Did they ever say anything about the older cars if they would ever make anything?

I've been interested in it for my '98 for quite a while now.
So far I've spent money on a maft, a maft+, LT1 and LS1 maf sensors; and the harness, pcm, intake and tb from a 2000 (but didn't install it). Also thinking about an APEXI S-AFC at some point...
But updating the pcm would be the ideal solution, instead of a bunch of black boxes hanging off the car.

1997 here and I am extremely interested!! Also with the increase in people getting sc and turbos I think the demand is gonna get bigger and bigger, especially if the gp of the turbo kits goes through...
Sweet!
I can't wait!
I've got a 99 , no hypertech for 99...
and still my ****ing speed limiter,
right now, I can run with bmw but not after 200 km/h!(118 mph)
Hello every one, ozzy here ive been looking at this page for weeks now finally joined. So my question is why is it that every turbo build forum just ends...
Just ordered some Toyo 315/35/17 tires for my 17x11 rims. Hopefully I can get them on the beginning of next year. Will post pics.
