Can anybody please explain to me static and dynamic compressions. And the difference between the two?

well.. I dont know exactly.. however static typicaly meens fixed.. dynamic meens variable/adjustable.. -

static compression is chamber volume @ BDC/chamber volume @ TDC
dynamic compression is different because the valves don't close at BDC so some air is lost during the upstroke.
