if i change to ported heads from suspersix motorsports..these come with everything all assembled already..would these be easier for me to put on (or just as easy) as roller rockers?..and which would be best for my application..stage 2, 2+, or 3?..thanks!

Rockers bolt on to the heads, heads bolt on to the engine. To change rockers, you're just lifting the valve covers. To change heads, you're removing basically everything but the shortblock!

hmmmmm...yeah..screw that :D lol ..thanks!..im just thinkin of what else to do to my car to help the nitrous along..i guess just ported intakes (i already have a fully hollow 3" exhaust)..those rockers..and a TC..i'll run first with what i've got..then i see myself half way through the season doing at least the rockers..then the TC next season

yea once the intakes are off, the heads come off next, just do them all at once to complete the setup. SSM heads and intake would be nice on it for the cost. just do the heads man, and forget the rockers. P&P heads and intake will work nicely with the nitrous

If you're gonna run a stock cam, I can't imagine it'd really be worth upgrading the heads. You may get some small gains, but it's not gonna be a whole lot. Not worth the >$1000 it's gonna cost.

yea but it would help him though with the nitrous. NA he won't notice much probably but once he hits the button it will be better, and safer with the intakes ported

Dont go with SSM, go abbott. They are only slightly more and offer better gains. after this your next mod should be a cam. I would recomend a cam over the rockers unless you are doing all the work your self, in that case go hi ratio rockers.

I like the abbott heads too and most likely are what I will buy, but how can you say they offer better gains than the SSM?

                      Abbott posted flow of of 232.5 - 178.2 (+2% for 98+)

SSM claims 240 intake and 202 exhaust.

Do you have personal experience to support that abbott is better? I would feel much better about the purchase if so.
