Hey, I have a few questions about the SLP rockers. I saw in a post in the Lounge that you have installed them. First off, how long did it take to install them? Were they hard to install or easy? Did you have to replace any gaskets or did you reuse the old ones? Are there any special tools that I will need for the install? I think that is most of my questions. Feel free to add any pointers or side notes to help me out. ;)
Also, do you think a person like myself could install them. I have never been inside a car motor before. Outside of the motor and other parts of the car sure, I've installed and fixed several things. But, never have I been inside of a car motor. I do have a friend however that is going to help me install them. He has a mid 80's Monte with a 305 in it. He has worked on and installed several mods in the motor several times. So, he has experience with internal engine work, just not my 3.8 fuel injected engine.
One other thing, if you could give me a list of the tools and stuff I will need for the install that would be GREAT. Also, did you change your oil after you installed them? I think that is all the questions I have. I'm sure that I'm leaving out several. So, once again, please feel free to add any helpful comments.
Also, anyone else that has experience in this field please feel free to comment. I'll take all the info I can get. ;)
Thanks for any info and help that you can give,
Jeff
