Okay first i know ive been saying this for awhile, but i really wanna rebuild my engine.
Sooo...
I would like to turbo and i know i will when i get the money but for now i just wanna build a strong solid engine.
What do you guys think would be a solid engine build for under 5 grand. That will give me power now but with little modification be able to handle a turbo later? Also how much is average labor for instalation on all this. And i know im going to have to get massive tuning.
Also, now for the problems. I run my engine hard on a daily basis.. i know i shouldnt do that but untill now i didnt believe it would hurt it before i got rid of it. Anyway my car is running through oil like none other. like i got my oil changed and under a month the low oil light went back on. So am i leaking oil or am i burning through it? Also, ever since i got new tires which were actually good tires i cant really burn out, i spose thats a good thing so i dont mind, the tires just stick to the road like none other. But recently ive been getting TONS of tirehop and i dont know why? is it just the tires or is something else wrong? The tirehop is still going on but now a crazy *** loud and anoying chirping noise seems to be comming from the drivers side front wheel well. I dunno why this would be happening, i looked under there and nothing is loose, i shook it and cant get a noise, i cant figure out whats going on and i dont trust any mechanics around here. (oh and i looked under my car for oil stains to and there was like hardly any so i doubt its leaking).
