  • Help - Rebuild

Okay, i think i am going to order the stage 3 heads from supersixmotorsports very soon.
I have no idea what kind of cam to get but it says it comes with one. So i guess i wanna know what kind of cam to get. Here is my problem.
I am going to order some headers and an exaust shortly or at the same time as the heads. I am then going to get some massive tuning done. After that i plan on getting a stall or a better transmission. Then i plan on getting forged pistons crank and building up the motor a little. Finally at the end of the summer its my goal to add a turbo and some boost. (if all goes well)

So does this seem like a decent plan. I also need massive help on cam selection because i know this is one of the most vital steps in this. I dont wanna spend all this money though and loose power untill i have a turbo. So i need a cam grind that will give me some added power when its N/A and still run fine, but overall i want it to be great for a turbo. Ha, i know nothing about cams really so any feedback will be greatly appreciated. What kind of stall should i look at for a torque converter for this kind of setup. Also, do you guys think the heads i am looking at a good idea, or am i being to agressive with this.

    Thanks, Cam

Please stop me now if im not going about all this the right way.

i would recomend against the SSM heads. Get a set of abbotts, you will probably be happier with the gains.
