• Which will help more?

SSM P&P Heads/210 220 .335 .342 113 111 cam combo
or
210 220 .335 .342 113 111 cam/nitrous combo

I want to run 13's

nitrous will make mroe power, but the heads will get u power all the time. i think you'll hit 13's w/ either combo pluss all the stuff u've already done to your motor. remember got get custom programming done.

Ok your cam specs are exactly the same in each scenario. Therefore what you are asking is...

I would say that nitrous will help more unless you only run a 5hp shot.

you wont see 13s with just the heads and cam package with your current mods, youre gonna need one hella converter, suspension to back it, and custom PCM programming.

that cam you are talking about is more of a nitrous cam, if youre wanting to go NA you might wanna consider a different cam. with that cam and juice youll see 13s... youll still need programming though. do you understand what all comes along with installing a cam? its not a bolt on

Just remember, our exhaust ports flow VERY well as is, exhaust favor when picking a camshaft isn't needed.

I wouldn't even favor the exhaust at all on a 100 shot. I would just run headers and a cutout. With stock manifolds through a muffler I would then favor the exhaust for a 100 shot, but who seriousely sticks with stock manifolds and muffler? If you race, and wnat performance, you eventualy get headers and some type of dump.

I think 10 degrees of exhaust favor is overkill on most practical scenarios.

FYI, some pretty quick GTP's that push LOTS of boost run the same exhaust duration as they do intake... and in a SC application you often see exhaust favor.. That just goes to show you how well our exhaust ports flow.

Well today i got my headers installed however there is a leak where the egr tube and whatever meet. :( I wanted a full exhaust because i plan on running boost later on down the road. I gave the wrong specs for the cam I want sorry. 210° 210º .317 .317 112. There that is the one I want. Its good for stock and or power adder. Its the GT Cam for zzperformance. I know what goes into a cam install. I will have a bunch of friends and father help me with it. I cannot afford both this summer. I am looking to do 2 major things this summer, I will have appox. 1400 to spend on eveything. Nitrous+Cam=1375 Cam+P&PHeads=1200
The reason for the big exhaust favor is the mods. encyclopedia, it says the more air flow you get the more power. More power is good. ;) I know that it wont run 13's N/A with ppheads&cam but next summer it would run 13's na with ppheads/cam/ppintake manifolds/gears/lsd/headers/intake/cutout wouldnt it?
