• Update on the car. Car is running and its fixed.

I had a blow a head gasket. So my oil pretty much turned to milk. Not very pretty so i changed all my gaskets from the crappy Stock GM gaskets to all fel-pros. God they are a much better gaskets. Well we started it and man it should good right now. I will post up a new video soon cause it sounds so much better than before. There is a very desinct lobe now. I love my car. I also got all the KR out of my car. I went from 14.9 degrees of KR down to 0 my car runs like a champ now.

Kris thats great to hear. I was dissapointed when I heard you were having troubles. ANd it seems you fixed it in a timely fashion. Good job.

I have also heard the stock 3.8 Head gaskets can cause KR because the gaskets suck so bad part of it hangs into the chamber.

Yes it does it really needs to shift at 6300 rpms and it really needs a 4000 stall converter. LOL

Chris I don't remember reading about a break-in for the camshaft, but I see you're posting 6,000+ RPM shifts. Please tell me you took the time to properly break the camshaft in?

being a hydraulic roller break in isnt as critical as it would be w/a regular hydraulic or flat tappet cam...

I heard that with a hydraulic roller you dont have to do the 20 minute thing. A few older guys said just give it he**, if it breaks than the motor was put together wrong
