  • Throttle Body

    ok well everything is getting done to my girl this week. now i just have to think about one thing. do i want to port and polish the Throttle Body. what else would have to do to make sure that she runs right and safe? she is getting the heads ported and polished this week so should i just tack it on the things to have done?

    i would not P&P the TB ..it will really make the MAF go crazy..and its really not going to increase performance THAT much..James is the only one i know of that has this done and i think he had special tuning done for it (not positive on that)..i would just get P&P upper and lower intakes instead..you can either have them done or get them from www.supersixmotorsports.com for like $500..or hold out and see if you can find any used..i plan on doing this mod in the future..especially since we are spraying through the intakes [img]smile.gif[/img]

      yea just stick with the intakes and heads. You will need tuning done if you get the throttle body ported. Which is kinda hard to tune for unless you have a tuner and are good at tuning.

        I would leave the throttle body stock, unless you have hptuners. I ported mine and it runs like crap on startup. If I had a stock one laying around, I would put the stock one back on.

                We have a huge throttle body anyway [img]smile.gif[/img] Look at mustangs, we can fit like 2 of thiers in ours.
