I would pull the motor because my dad has a lift I think you can get the heads off without pulling it, but its really hard. On the subject of pistons I am almost sure that you should pull the motor. good luck1995 black firebird,t-tops,3.4L M5 Comp cam, gutted cat,Cold Air,80 series flowmaster, limited slip rear end with 3.42 gear, Hurst Billet Plus, 17\" American Racin Torq Thrust II

Its been 4 years since I rebuilt an engine :( . If you enjoy the work, pull the thing. chances are you will finish faster and with less pain if you just pull it.White 98 Camaro with t-tops leather and Y87. For more info on mods just ask.
1/4=14.9
2002 Xterra V6 A4
