  • Need Some Help and Advice

    Here's the plan:

    Comp Cams Hyd Roller Cam

    - 200/206 Duration
    - 0.498 / 0.480 Valve Lift
    - 112* LSA
    - 108 IC

(straight from ftpp.net) thought this might be a good cam for driveability and a nice power gain, suggestions?

also putting on the aluminum driveshaft, pacesetter headers, 90# valvesprings (supposed to be good for 0.550 lift), steel retainers, chromemoly pushrods, viton valve seals, comp cams valve locks

My concerns are about tuning for the cam. The most power and best driveability will come if the cam is tuned properly so I'm going to get the Autotap Enhanced to monitor but do I need the MAFT+ or just the MAFT to control the air/fuel, I would think after that the computer would adjust the timing properly if I take care of eliminating the knock as I don't want to advance the timing for more power on top of the cam. Also, do I need a walbro fuel pump for the cam/headers and tuning or not? I'm planning on using new stock injectors. I really need some advice, so any help is greatly appreciated!
