    How hard/involved is it to install new cam bearings??

    gotta take your whole block apart... fine if you're building from the ground up, but not anything you can do with the motor in the car. i think az3.8CAMaro did something where he replaced the front bearing and secured it with jb weld which apparently works in a pinch, but... i wouldn't want that to be the be all and end all of bearing replacement.

        Don't mess with cam bearings unless your block is completely stripped.

        Unless your name is magneto and you are from an x men comic book. Then it would be easy.

          ok so i'll save the bearing until I rebuild the bottom part of the motor

            You need a cam bearing puller/installer tool there about $70. And new cam bearings.
