  • Intake Centerline???

    What is intake centerline?

What does it do and what does it affect?

    I ordered my cam 212/212 520/520 112LS and 112Intake Centerline

What will a 112 intake centerline do for this cam. Magnus I know you mentioned yours is 110, what difference will this make for my cam compared to yours?

I never specified the intake centerline when I ordered the cam. Compcam's selected this intake centerline for me.

    112 LSA 110 IC means it's advanced 2 degrees.

No advance. I learned that in chat over at the other site. See it's not so useless. Someone there knows about cams.

I'm surprized they recomended no advance. I highly recomend a new timing chain with your cam then.

I ORDERED a cam with 2 degrees of advance, however on my cam card it shows a cam of 4 degrees of advance.. oh well..

The reason I ordered only 2 degrees of advance is over time a timing chain will stretch.. 4 degrees worth, I doubt... so I figured 2 degrees would be the perfect medium.

You should be fine. It will be interesting to see how our dyno graphs compare with just different intake centerlines.
