    So im going to save some cash this summer. put cant decide which cam, its either one or these:
    Comp Cams Extreme 4X4.Specifications: 216 Intake Duration, 216 Exhaust Duration, 112 Lobe Sep. Angle, 108 Intake Centerline.
    .507 lift on both valves.
    or Comp Cams Extreme Energy
    212 Intake Duration, 212 Exhaust Duration, 112 Lobe Sep. Angle, 108 Intake Centerline.
    .520 lift on both valves

    Ill also have this installed.
    INTENSE™ High-Performance Pushrods
    CompCams High Load Valvesprings
    CompCams Valvespring Retainers
    INTENSE™ Cam Installation Kits
    Rollmaster Timing Sets

    Is all of this nesacary? Would i need a torque convertor?Why? This will be run with a 85 shot and will be moved to a 100

    a lot of members might tell you to consider a blower cam instead of those NA cams if you are spraying... the biggest difference will be your LSA and a split limit duration.

    the TC you've got now will work, but it never hurts to beef up the system, esp. with a cam and nitrous. your ETs will drop, maybe even .3 or .4 with a high stall TC but then again, so will your bank account. consider what you want the car to be before you go throwing a bunch of cash at it, though.
