  • Does the Maft+ react differently with differnt plugs.

I use to have NGK TR6's in there and those are the ones i had in there since i installed the maft+ well today i changed my plugs to boush platium plugs gapped a .060 and when i took it for a drive when i hit WOT my engine was poping like a misfire but no misfire code came up so i pussy footed her home and put the maf+ back to base. It was orignally 2% lean at WOT and 4 degrees advanced timing at WOT what yall think

Why would you gap them at .060? Try regapping them to like .045, shouldn't take you more than 20 minutes to do. I have a feeling that you are blowing out your spark since the gap is hella wide.

factory plug gap is .060. it's not going to blow out the spark if it's supposed to be gapped that high.
Platinum plugs SUCK for performance. Go with some kind of copper plug, whether it be NGK, denso, or Bosch. I run Bosch Supers and it helped my KR from when I used platinums.
