• Intense Rocker Arms

My friend has Intense Rocker Arms on this Grand Prix Gt and we are about to take them off his car and put them on my car. Has anyone done this? I don't see this listed in anyones Mod list. We have the same L36 engines so they will work and if you go to 3800performance.com and look under engine they have them there and for our cars it adds 15 to 25 hp depending on other mods.

Nobody here has done this, but it is interesting to find out how well they work on our cars. Perhaps take a dyno for us before/after?

Most people here just swap cams.

There's a guy in the cincinnati area running those rockers in a GP GT. with the intake mods, and exhaust mods, and those rockers, he ran a 15.0. that isn't bad for 3500 lbs, airplane transmission, and FWD.
imagine what it would do for an F

He'd be running a 14.5 with the right cam though

15.0 from a stock 16.0-16.2 isnt bad, those FWD 3800's aren't nearly as fast as our RWD platforms I've found. I saw Monte Carlo SS's running 10.9 in the 1/8th when I was pulling a 9.68!!

sorry they aren't the INTENSE roller rocker arms...they are the Split ratio roller rockers. the intense are designed for the L67 but will fit our cars but you won't see the HP gain with those. I thought my friend had the INTENSE for lucky for my he has the Split Ratio Roller rockers, the ones that work best with our cars. but we are still going to swap them out. i will try to get a dyno before/after but i have to get some money for that, i have never had a dyno so i don't know how much they run. but i will try to get one before we install the rockers.

sorry i forget the ratio he said they were... but only the split ratio will give us the full HP that we want... the INTENSE rocker arms aren't designed for our cars. My friend got them from ZZPerformance.com check there. I talk to owner guy all the time so he answers all my questions. they also have underdrive and overdrive pulleys that i will be getting for my car real soon also... I haven't seen UD or OD for sale anywhere else except on ZZPerformance.com

well the pulleys are made for our engines, so they won't hurt it. the only thing they can do it help. it might not be noticable but half the MODS that people do aren't noticeable and the pulleys are only $59 each. so you really can't go wrong. there aren't to many cheap MODS like that, that you can actually gain HP from.
