    Paging Stagen

    do you know how much of a hp gain you got when you dropped your cam and rockers in because that is 1 of my future mods i plan on doin but im not sure what to do 1st rockers or cam?
    click this link and tell me what do you think about these intense rockers that was used for dynoing on a GTP and GT. if it doesn't work copy and paste. my mods are in my sig. do i need to get other stuff or can i just exchange when i get rockers or cam?

    To be honest I did not do a Dyno run to get a true HP gain number. All I can base it on is SOTP and times at the track. SOTP was minimal but track times were dropped on average .2 to .3 tenths whcih in a 3.4 is pretty good.

    I personally have a hard time believing that you would see a 15 to 23 RWHP gain with just the Rockers. And at 1:9 you would definitely need a PCM flash IMHO to get all in order.

    The rockers I used were the Crane Gold Race Extruded 3/8 stud 1:6's

      Did you have to do any modification for the rockers to fit? Are you sure about .3s off your e.t. with just the addition of the rocker arms? If so then I want the part #. [img]graemlins/fluffy.gif[/img]

        yes, you need to change to a 3/8 stud. They are $40 for ARp RS-11 I think (for a 3.4L).

        On the time yes but I was also running drg radials then based on times with just regular street tires.

          i was told by zooomer from zzperformance.com that with the intense rockers you won't see the HP gain on our cars, he said that the intense for designed for the L67 engines. he said that you would need the Split ratio rockers to see the gain. i think they are 1:8 and 1:85 or soemthing like that. my friend has them on his grand prix gt and they knocked off .3 off his 1/4 mile time. he is going to sell his car but before he does we are going to switch our rockers out, so i will have his split ratio rockers on my car and he will have the stock ones back. and with 98 and up 3.8L i don't think you need modify anything, they should just fit right in.
