    I think the resistance is negligable.

    Also, if the MSD DIS-4 could benafit the INTENSE turbo car, I think they would be running it. They are going for records and try to squeeze out every ounce of power possible.. yet they are still on stock coils.

    Our cars aren't nitro drag cars. ;)

    I think MSD makes a tach converter so you can have proper tach-out to run things like gauges, retard windows witches and such without havin to run the whole MSD DIS-4 unit.

This post would go nicely in the retard section." this is exactly what u said Clark. saying that was an attck on me, by saying that this subect should be in the retard section because I am a retard. There are several members on here who know how knowledgable I am on our cars. I don't need to name names because it would be a waste of time. Just realize that u do not know who u r talking about and obviously don't know what u are talking about. u posting in this thread has been a waste up to this point, and just drawn attention away from the topic being discussed and debated.

          hrm.. interesting read..

          I tend to belive keith on this topic.. less of the timing retard function the mdis4 seems pretty useless.. and in fact seems like a turd.. it seems that ever month or so someone of the handfull of memebrs that have them, have some strange issue with those units.. weather it be compleate failure or missfires..

          I was told to buy one.. but now that keiths software is out I dont see any good reason too..

          now all i need is is the money..

            I'm sorry, I though the debate was over. Keith said he has proof of that not giving any gains. I trust his opinion over anyone else's on here so case closed.

                it seems that I need to settle this somehow. I'm in the process of finding a local dyno to test my car on to see if I get any gains from this at all. This way I can post what it is worth and let the rest of u decide for urselves if it's worth spending the money on now or in the future.

                    If you find a local dyno, please 2 4 pulls, 1 w/o, 1 with, 1 w/o, 1 with.

                    It would suck to see one dyno run be 2hp over the existing and then have that claimed as gains due to the DIS-4. Many back to back dyno's vary by a few HP.

                    The cheaper solution would be to just make passes at the track, switching DIS-4 each pass.
