I would just buy a Z28/TA, they are going for pretty cheap these days. But of course the insurance and gas will cost a lot more than the six. That's why I'm stickin with this car.

Turbo it

Oh, and if you're still stuck on swapping in an LS1 then you're going to need:
1) LS1 (I'm assuming you're getting everything that's under the hood of a z28 or ta)
2) Tranny and crossmember(If your car was an auto before and you're moving to a t-56 then you'll need clutch, pedals, and a new center console for which ever application your going too.)
3) PCM/Wiring Harness
4) LS1 K-member
5) A little sweat, blood, & tears

Total Price was around ~$5,000 give or take depending on whether you do it yourself or not.

This isn't everything by far. I think Magnus had a great write up on his webpage. I once opted for the LS1 swap, but gas prices and insurance turn me away for now. So I'll stick with the idea of forced induction.
