Stock Pushrod's are 3/8 right? Will 5/16 work ok? What difference will this make? Its easier to find a 5/16 pushrod for the length I need. Can I just get 5/16?

5/16 should be fine. So 5/16 is the stock size? My mechanic told me to order 7 inch.
