For a 3.4, all you need to turn on is S4 on the first set of switches.

Everything else is rev limit, staging limit, etc.

i know my car revs a lot quicker with the waste spark turned off, does yours? maybe you should consider real world experience over what you've read on a message board

Does anyone have a schematic or something that explains how it disables waste spark? I'm just curious to see how that's even possible.

if waste spark is on it knows the there are 2 cylenders per coil

is it it off it knows each one has its own coil /trigger...

You have a 3.8 which is a waste system...I don't believe the 3.4's like his are setup the same as ours as they are OBD 1. Disabling waste spark probably helps the 3.4 crowd, but since the 3800's already have it...it probably will not run without it.

3.4s have the same coil system as 3.8s. I really don't see how it is possible to just disable it. Not only that, but I don't see any reason you would gain power by "turning it off".
