the ls1 injectors are 26lbs i think, while yours are 19. at the same duty cycle the 26 pounder would be spraying in hella amounts of fuel, making you run super rich, a tune will make the computer use them right.

I knw the connector for the LS1 injector is different than the 3.8L injectors, which would eman rewiring all of them. I don't know about the 3.4L. Also, if it's a 99-00 LS1 injector, it's about 26.5lb, and 98, and 01-02 are 28.8lb:)

The 28.8 (rated at 58 psi) is about a 24 at our fuel pressure. So you'd be stepping up from a 19 to a 24 basically. This is a 26% bigger injector. It will run very rich at idle, foul the plugs, and wash the oil off the cylinders...

It will probably run rich across the board. 25% seems to be the limit on how much the pcm can adapt in the mid-range rpms. It can't adapt at idle (especially cold idle) very well at all.

Unless you are maxing out the current injectors, there is no need to increase the capacity. It will only hurt your performance and durability.
