  • HP Tuners is now accepting V6 orders.

    http://www.hptuners.com

We are accepting orders on 97-02 V6 F-bodies now.

Here is a list of things you can edit with our product:
    Fuel Cutoff and Idle Speed
    MAF, Injectors and Power Enrichment
    Spark Advance and Knock Retard
    Torque Management and DTC's
Transmission Shift Points and TCC Lockup
    Transmission Abuse Mode
Fan Temps and Key-Off Fan Run Time
    Speedometer Recalibration and Limiters

Please note: We already have a few customers on firebirdV6. I will not say who but they are some people I've known for some time. The reason I bring this up is they can attest first hand at what I am about to say.

We support the majority of the PCM's you will find in these vehicles. GM has released quite a few though and it is impossible for us to support all of them right out of the gate. If you purchase our product and come across a PCM that we have not yet supported you will receive a warning message that instructs you to e-mail us your file. We will work with it for a couple of days and then compile you new software which you can download via our web page that will support your vehicle.

We have done what we can to support as much as we can but chances are there will be a couple of people who do run into this problem. We are really good at turning around the updates to correct this though.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

All orders placed through the week will be shipped out this coming Monday.

viper, believe it or not when we did annouce that we had no plans to do the 97 I received several hate mails. It discouraged me even more to come out with anything for the 97's.. but we spent some more time with the PCM's and decided that it wouldn't be that bad at all.. so we decided to do them as well.

I'm sorry but there will be no group purchases anytime in the near future.

I am glad you made them too.
Personally, I think the market will be very nice for 97s because there are no other options.

The local v8 guys here love HPTuners also. They only have good things to say. Esecially how fast it is.

                              WOOHOO!!!!! I just ordered mine....

Thanks Magnus. You and the others there at HP Tuners deserve BIG BIG BIG kudos for finally tackling the V6s.

With the current software, what can we do with the MAF, i.e, can we reprogram the MAF Tables (LS1 MAF, perhaps???).

Also, will you be coming out with any more options for the transmission, i.e., line pressure control for shifts, at idle, part throttle, etc.?

Speaking of that, can we read line pressure with your scanner?

Oh yeah, and is the software set up so that it will automatically re-figure injector timing for bigger injectors?

                              :D :D :D

                              Thanks again.
