I guess my main question is, my 98 camaro has an open diff with over 100,000 miles, I would like to know if it's even worth it with so many miles? Have you heard of any engines lasting much longer? I would like to put in the GT cam because I've heard good things about it (unless you have some other advise) and I know I would have to put new springs in with it, plus LSD to put it to the ground. I've done my research, I just need to find a shop here in Memphis to go to and to decide if I want to put that much money into a car with that many miles. What do you think? Rebuild it. An engine will last as long as you want it too as long as you take care of it and replace what's needed. Once you decide what you really want out of it then build it how you want it.1998 A4 Pontiac Firebird -

Thats at 1600ft.
Cold out that day, about 40*F
That, paired along with a new starting line (no rubber laid down) goes for lots of wheel spin.
