I was wondering what a 3.8L runs as fars as timing advanced stock so say i am advanceing my timing with my maft+ what is the base timing so say the base is 15 and i advance 6 im at 21 degrees advanced what does the stock engine and ignition system advance timing to.

Stock, my car usually saw about 25 degrees of advance. Try +4 I like 29 its a nice round number. Seriously though, you need to autotap your car and find out where your advance is. Each car is DIFFERENT, what works on mine, may not work as well on yours. Each mod you perform makes your car even more unique as to what your pcm is willing to let you do. Before you even start advancing timing, look at your knock reading from autotap, you need to clear out your knock before using maft+ or else your shooting yourself in the foot and still getting less timing from stock if you have knock issues. well at 2% lean at WOT and 6 degrees of timing advance my car feels like it pulls hard. I am getting autotap in a week so its not to far away i was just curious. Thanks for the help
