Does anyone know the Cam specs for the Intense shortblock cam? www.3800performance.com is selling a shortblock for around $5,000 - and they claim it has a "cam" in it but they don't provide specs!
IMHO, it isn't THAT beefed up. You should be able to get all those things done for half the price locally.
If I had money, let see how much I could spend there.
5k for the block
2k for the heads
3k for the tranny
600 aluminum roller rockers
150 pushrods
200 head gaskets
100 head bolts
2300 for the intercooler+700 in other needed items
500 new torque converter
730 headers
300 PCM
1000 new ram airhood including paint
5 grand for a shortblock that uses STOCK RODS and CRANK??? BWAAHHAHAHHAHAHAHA Where do they come up with this? I like some of the stuff they do but your paying a ton for an overbore, some forged pistons, and some extra oiling. I feel sorry for the sucker that pays that.
