Probably not the best bang for your buck. New valve springs will be needed to avoid valve float. There's been 2 or 3 in-depth posts about it here, so try a quick search. ;)Matt

check into valve guides/seals as long as your are taking the springs off and you have almost 100k miles into the car.
I am more familiar with older style heads/valve stem seals. ours are more fancy...to use a very technical term...but it might be something to look into.
the 1.9 rockers with ls6 springs do make a difference. with normal exhaust there is stronger pull at about 4000 rpm. (you can notice a powerband increase...feels cool). With full 3" exhaust that 4000rpm powerband was gone and the car was just faster all the time.Comment

not guides...but seals. becuase they have many miles on them. if they are cheap and you already have the springs off then great time to do it.
um...it is gonna get pricey to have a shop perform the rocker/spring upgrade. it will turn this into a VERY expensive mod....might not be worth it. if you are payinn shops to mod your car then I suggest saving a few bucks...sell the v6 and get a v8. i am not trying to be rude.
i would be nervous to have a 'stranger' leaning over under the cowl for a few hours...hoping he did not get tired and frustrated. Also...if your rear engine lift bracket is still on the engine it maight add ?????? to labor time.Comment
